Admission Procedure

Three years Diploma Courses are being offered in Engineering both as Government Aided and Self-Finance Courses are as follows

Aided Intake
Diploma in Civil Engineering 60
Diploma in Computer Engineering 60
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering 60
Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering 60
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 60
Self-Finance Intake
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering 60
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 60

Eligible candidates are selected through counselling by following the Government norms.

The Polytechnic also offers a job oriented short-term courses for public under the continuing education program of CIICP-CANADA INDIA INSTITUTIONAL CO-OPERATION PROJECT.

Application Fees

Application Fee is Rs.150/-

SC/ST Candidates are exempted from Application fee by producing their community certificate

Application can be obtained from the College Admission Office by paying the amount of Rs.150/- by cash only.

Eligibility Criteria

A) For First Year: A pass in SSLC public Examination conducted by Government of Tamil Nadu or its equivalent

B) Direct II Year(Lateral Entry/MPEC)

1. Passed 10+2 Examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship(Any of the Three) (or) 10th + 2 years ITI

2) ITI: Two Years ITI after SSLC with a certificated from NCVT in appropriate trade.

Opportunities

After the Completion of their Diploma Courses, the candidates are eligible to join the B.E (Lateral Entry) in any field irrespective of their Diploma Course.
